Friends to day iam asking about removal of governors.what does the law say.

In the recent year there has been some debate around power of the Central Government to remove governs.

Central Government seek resignation of governors, who were appointed by the previous central Government .here we briefly look at the key construction al provions, the law laid down by the supreme court, and some recommendations made by different commision that have examined this tissue.

What does the constitution say.

As per article 155 and article 156 of the constitution,a governer of a state is an appointe of the president, and he or she holds office during the pleasure of the president.if a governer constitute to enjoy the pleasure of the president  he or she can be officer for a term five year .because the president is bound to act on the aid an d advice of the counsil of ministers under article 74 of the constitution.in effect it is the Central Government that appointment s and removes the governers  pleasure ofthe president.

Merely refer to  this will and wish of the Central Government.

In 2010 ,a constitutional bench of the supreme court interpreted these provide and laid down some binding principle.the supreme court interpreted these provisions and laid down some binding principles.

The  the Central Government has the power e a governer at at anytime without giving him or her any reason ,and without granting an opportunity to be heard.
